The Capture has returned with season 3 after a four-year break and has already introduced a brand-new character.
Commander Noah Pierson will take centre stage in the third series alongside returning characters Rachel Carey, played by Holliday Grainger, Frank Napier, played by Ron Perlman, Isaac Turner, played by Paapa Essiedu, Nadia Latif, played by Ginny Holder, and Chloe Tan, played by Tessa Wong. Speaking about the enigmatic Noah Pierson, The Capture writer Ben Chanan said: “Noah Pierson is probably my favourite character I’ve written for the show – he is deeply mysterious and disagreeable. ‘Who is Noah Pierson?’ is the central mystery of the series, he appears one way, then another, keeping audiences guessing.
“Killian Scott nails the role, delivering believable action and dramatic intensity. From the moment he read, we knew he was right.”
While Holliday said of working with actor Killian Scott: “He’s a lovely person and a fantastic actor. Noah has so many different facets, and each episode reveals a different side of him. Watching Killian bring all of that to life has been really fun.” But who is Killian Scott, and where have you seen him before?

Killian is an Irish actor known for playing Tommy in Love/Hate, Augustus Dove in Ripper Street, and Seth Davenport in Damnation.
He also starred as DI Eric Wardle in Strike, Rob Reilly in Dublin Murders, and Pagon in Secret Invasion. More recently, Killian starred as Orpheus in the Netflix hit comedy-drama Kaos opposite Jeff Goldblum.
As well as garnering an impressive number of television credits, Killian has had roles in films including ’71 and The Commuter.
On joining The Capture for season 3, Killian said: “It’s been very easy, actually. Everyone was incredibly welcoming, and it’s a very well-oiled machine, from Ben’s writing to Derek’s producing, with Holliday leading the show brilliantly. Ron Perlman and the regular cast were already so established that I just tried to slot in and keep up. When the scripts are that strong, everything tends to fall into place.”

Killian Scott’s Noah Pierson is set to be a central character in The Capture season 3
On why the show and his character Noah appealed to him, Killian said: “Quite simply, it’s very good writing. Any actor responds to that. Ben has a real skill for balancing sophisticated surveillance and technology with very human stories at the centre.
“You get all the elements of a classic espionage thriller, but with fully rounded characters under intense personal pressure. For me, Noah was particularly appealing, a mysterious, multi-faceted character.”
