Baby No. 2 on the Way! Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton Share Their Joy with Fans

As Stacey Dooley and Kevin Clifton prepare to hit the road together for the UK tour of 2:22 A Ghost Story, it seems their shared stage time might not be the only exciting project they’re working on this year. According to a source speaking to heat, the couple are also hoping this tour will lead to baby number two.

“Stacey has said that since becoming parents, she and Kevin rarely get time for romance,” the insider revealed. “But she’s really eager to have more kids – she just wants it to happen soon. The problem is, they barely get any time alone together.”

But with a full summer of touring ahead, Stacey reportedly sees this as the perfect moment to both reconnect and try for another baby.

Stacey, 38, and Kevin, 42, welcomed their daughter Minnie in January 2023, after falling in love during their time on Strictly Come Dancing back in 2018. When Kevin was previously away touring with Chicago, Stacey admitted their intimacy took a back seat. She even joked, “Maybe when Kev is back on the scene, we’ll remember how to have sex.”

Now, with Stacey returning to her role as Jenny and Kevin playing her stage husband Sam in 2:22, the couple are hoping the tour gives them the time and closeness they’ve been missing.

“With Stacey’s mum helping out with childcare, Stacey’s really looking forward to spending proper quality time with Kevin,” the source said. “They both feel like their relationship has been on the back burner, and she’s genuinely excited to reconnect with him – and maybe even come home with a new addition to the family.”

Although Stacey has previously said that motherhood wasn’t always something she aspired to, she’s since described it as “the best thing I’ve ever done.” The source added, “She’s totally obsessed with Minnie and never expected to love it this much. She’s especially grateful that Kevin feels the same way – they’re both so devoted to being parents.”

The couple, we’re told, are excited to have some time together just as Stacey and Kevin – and maybe even plan the next chapter of their growing family.
