Carol Vorderman has hit back at critics after facing backlash for her recent facelift, delivering a powerful message about self-acceptance and personal choice.

The 65-year-old TV personality, best known for her role on Countdown, opened up about her decision to undergo cosmetic procedures, including Botox, and even hinted at the possibility of a facelift in the near future. Addressing the backlash, Carol was adamant: “It’s my money, I’ve earned it, so I’ll spend it on what I like.”

In an interview with Woman & Home, the star made it clear that she has no shame in investing in her appearance, saying, “I don’t look as good as I did in my 40s, but I don’t think I look bad for my age. I have no issue with treatments. I’m accepting of myself, but I also want to look good, and those two things can go together.” While Carol has been open about her beauty treatments, she has also been transparent about her health struggles. Last year, she was hospitalized after suffering from severe burnout and chest pains, later revealing that it was a wake-up call for her. “I had to say no to things for the first time,” she shared. Carol also battled chronic rheumatoid arthritis, which left her unable to walk for several months. The experience led her to reevaluate her workaholic lifestyle, and she’s now focused on enjoying life outside of work.
